Sonya Barber, is a teacher and educator at CQ University, creating career pathways in her beloved industry the school of Health, Medicine and Applied Sciences for our emerging workforce of the next generation who will help change lives for the better! Sonya was named Australian Fitness Professional of the year in 2002, has worked in Corporate Health, Health Promotion, Women’s health, Fitness Business Modelling and you may know her best as FILEX Presenter and Fitness Australia State Manager in Qld. Sonya is a strong advocate for the Health and Fitness industry, and you can hear her words of wisdom on ABC Radio in Qld on Saturday mornings, all the way from her tropical paradise hometown of Cairns.
