Course pre-requisite: – students must have access to a Spin Bike when undertaking the lessons.
This is an online, self-paced course delivered by Perform Better Pro-ED
All materials are delivered digitally – through a variety of digital mediums, including written material, video narrated slide presentations, videos of sample exercises, sample forms, and more.
Comprehension of the material will be measured via a mandatory competency assessment requiring a minimum of 80% correct responses.

Overview
This Indoor Cycling Course offers comprehensive training on cycling techniques, safety protocols, class design, and teaching skills. Master the art of cueing and coaching. Practice providing motivation and encouragement to keep participants engaged.

Module 1: Introduction to Indoor Cycling
- Learn the benefits of indoor cycling for participants. The Role and responsibilities of an Indoor Cycling Instructor and the overview of the course content and objectives.
Module 2: Bike Set Up
Understand the intricacies of bike setup to ensure participants’ safety and comfort. Learn how to properly adjust seat height, handlebar height, and handlebar distance. Educate yourself on safety guidelines and emergency procedures.
Module 3: Hand & Body Positions

Prerequisites & certification
The Indoor Cycling Instructor Training Course concludes with a final assessment and a 20 min practical demonstration of teaching skills. Upon successful completion, participants receive a Certification as a qualified Indoor Cycling Instructor.
This online course is meant to be taken by Fitness Professionals who have previously acquired education and experience as a professional within the health and fitness industry.
If you are not instructing but simply want to extend your knowledge in the program you will be provided with a Competency Certificate.

His initial encounter with the “Indoor Cycling Bug” took place during a remarkable Johnny G spinning master class in the USA, accompanied by the pulsating rhythms of Japanese drums. This experience became his passion, spurring a deep fascination for Indoor Cycling.
A Master Schwinn Trainer and certified across a spectrum of other Cycle programs, including Repco, Cycle Reebok, Keiser, Spinning, Schwinn, and RPM, Ken’s expertise continues to extend to National and International presenting where he shares insights in Indoor Cycling and various other programs, making him a highly sought-after presenter.
Ken continues to this day to teach regular Cycle Classes at his local Gym.
